COURTNEY DARCY began as a law clerk in 2018 before joining the firm as an Associate in 2022, concentrating her practice on civil litigation and municipal law. Ms. Darcy graduated cum laude from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in May 2019. During law school, Ms. Darcy was named to the Moot Court Society Order of the Barristers and served as the Secretary of the Moot Court Board. She also served as an Executive Articles Editor for the Indiana Law Review.
Before coming to Parr Richey as an Associate, Ms. Darcy served as a Deputy Attorney General with the Office of the Indiana Attorney General in the Administrative and Regulatory Enforcement Litigation section. She defended Indiana state agencies and employees in matters such as judicial review proceedings brought under the Indiana Administrative Orders and Procedures Act, civil rights lawsuits brought under 42 U.S.C. section 1983, and original tax appeals in the Indiana Tax Court.
Ms. Darcy is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana and the Federal District Court for both the Northern District of Indiana and the Southern District of Indiana.
