Jack Hughes began as a law clerk in 2022 before joining the firm as an Associate in 2023, concentrating his practice in the areas of utility and business law. Mr. Hughes graduated in the top 25% of his class at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2023. During his time in law school, Mr. Hughes served as an associate editor for the 21st Volume of the Indiana Health Law Review and as a legal writing tutor for first-year students through the Dean’s Tutorial Society. Mr. Hughes also served as an extern for the Honorable James Partrick Hanlon of the Southern District of Indiana and the Honorable Leanna Weissmann of the Indiana Court of Appeals.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Hughes graduated from Franklin College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Business. Mr. Hughes spent two years after his undergraduate studies working in politics and state government, spending time with the Indiana State Senate and the Office of Community and Rural Affairs under Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch.
Mr. Hughes is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana and the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
