Attorneys

The firm seeks talented, motivated attorneys who the firm typically hires into associate positions working out of either our Lebanon or Indianapolis office. Hiring decisions are based on demonstrated academic achievement, legal writing ability, excellent people skills, and a willingness to achieve success in the practice of law.

All associates are hired with the intent and expectation they will become a partner at a future time. The length of the partnership track is not rigidly set, but is instead based on the associate’s experience and expertise.

New associates are exposed to several areas of law practiced by the firm, and over time the attorney will likely focus primarily on one or two areas. Because of the firm’s size, associates benefit both from early and substantial responsibility and direct client contact.

Our beginning compensation is competitive with other law firms in the Indianapolis area. Compensation for more experienced attorneys depends on the level of that experience. The firm offers a self-directed 401(k) plan, and an array of benefits including a cafeteria health insurance plan, life insurance, paid membership fees for the Indianapolis, Indiana State and American Bar Associations, and paid continuing education.
